Black Rock Country Club
The project is a multi-phased effort including a master plan, new clubhouse, and design for 138 townhouses.
The clubhouse is the project's centerpiece and is designed in a late 19th-century, stone and shingle, New England resort style, with dramatic roofs and a distinctive coastal tower. Amenities include a grille room, dining hall, a smaller dining room and a series of private dining spaces. The top floor contains the administration suite of private offices and the boardroom, while the ground floor houses full service locker rooms (sauna, massage, card rooms), the pro shop and cart storage. A gatehouse to the development is designed in a matching style.
The townhouse designs are one- and two-stories configured as detached, double and triple units. Configurations include living room, study, dining room, bedrooms with walk-in closets, bathrooms with shower and jacuzzi, and great rooms with fireplaces. Styled to match the clubhouse in stone and cedar shingle, the townhouses are available in a variety of plans ranging from formal to informal. The largest units are 3,500 square feet.
