CBT Wins Four 2024 Muse Design Awards

Only a fourth of the way through 2024 and we’re already celebrating four international design awards for four CBT projects in four different cities! We are deeply proud to announce that Central Armature Works, The Sterling at Regent Square, Park 151, and the Seaport Science Center have each been honored with a MUSE Design Award!  In its 9th year, The Muse Design Awards program is dedicated to “honoring, celebrating, and elevating outstanding design innovators” and “pushing the boundaries of what is possible, inspiring others to further elevate the standards of the design world.”

Honored with a Platinum Award, Central Armature Works in Washington, D.C.’s NoMa neighborhood offers a fresh and artful multifamily residence instilled with a distinctive spirit of place. CBT’s interior design instills the two-building residences with a distinctive spirit of place, inspired by the 2.4-acre site’s former hosting of Armature Works, a century-old electrical services business representative of the mechanized craftsmanship essential to many enterprises, today and yesterday.

Bringing home a Gold Award, Boston’s Seaport Science Center artfully reimagines an iconic architectural landmark – 601 Congress – as a magnetic environment for today’s innovation industry tenants. From a lobby transformed by original large-scale artworks to verdant winter garden and rooftop havens, its spaces inspire, sparking with creative energy and connection to the world around them.

The Sterling at Regent Square was honored with a Gold Award for seamlessly blending the best of hospitality and resort design to introduce a one-of-a-kind residential community like nothing Houston, TX has seen before. This one-million-square-foot, Texas-scale multifamily project wraps its eight-acre, block-wide site, framing two residential courtyards and embracing public open space. With chic interiors and a spa-worthy courtyard, The Sterling supports residents from wellness to socializing to working from home with flair.

Recognized with a Gold Award, Park 151 in Cambridge, MA is a new 20-story, 468-unit residential building at the apex of the 42-acre Cambridge Crossing neighborhood. A distinct multifamily residence that expresses the life science and innovation community surrounding it, Park 151 represents a deliberate extension of “the most innovative square mile on the planet.” The design is a departure from its neighbors and predecessors, marked by original art, sculpture, and unexpected design solutions tailored to their place.
