CBT's Sae Kim Wins BSA Earl R. Flansburgh Award for Young Designers

We are beyond proud to celebrate CBT Associate Principal Sae Kim as the Boston Society for Architecture’s 2022 Earl R. Flansburgh Young Designer Award recipient!

The BSA Flansburgh Award recognizes design excellence by an architect under 40 and commemorates the deeply impactful legacy of distinguished Boston architect Earl. R. Flansburgh FAIA. In addition to an online exhibition of his work as well as a lecture hosted by the BSA, Sae will be recognized at the BSA Awards Gala on January 18, 2023.

From urban design and architecture to research and exhibition, Sae searches for ways of informing a meaningful change through design. His creative process is founded on the generation and evolution of design solutions through the lens of problem-solving, storytelling, and value-creation. For Sae, the success of a design is determined not by how beautiful the project is or how well it performs, but by the depth of the dialogue it generates and the magnitude of its impact.

Congratulations, Sae, on this outstanding honor! We can’t wait to celebrate with you in January!
