601 Congress represents BioMed’s flagship conversion of a state-of-the-art office building into the Seaport neighborhood’s newest lab/office space. CBT is working with BioMed Realty to reposition the building to attract sophisticated lab users to a lab building that will have the latest in amenity experiences, from a hospitality-focused lobby with integrated retail to a modern first-floor bike room, a sun-drenched winter garden for breakaway meetings and on-site events for up to 200 people. The repositioning includes a new rooftop garden with views of downtown and the Harbor Islands. The rooftop amenity is designed to accommodate outdoor conferencing, small meetings, as well as events for the new lab tenants.
