CBT Celebrates Pride 2023!

Happy Pride! We kicked off our annual CBT Proud celebration with a bang – an officewide happy hour, presentation, and the unveiling of our Pride wall installation!    
 

Inspired by the Pride flag, the lobby installation features 3D rainbow bands, illuminated by colored lighting, which allow for a moment of reflection before entering the office. The design is also replicated in a window overlooking the building’s main entrance, where it can be seen by all visitors.

Events this month include a variety of educational sessions, snow cones and tie dye on the roof deck, and our main fundraising event, Drag Bingo. Guest speakers from Human Dignity Trust and Lawyers for Civil Rights will discuss how their organizations are working to change discriminatory laws and fighting for equity for the LGBTQ+ community through legal advocacy and education. 

Finally, our fifth annual Drag Bingo fundraiser featuring CBT’s own Derek Mekita will be held on June 28 at our Constitution Wharf office!
