CBT Receives Top Honors at SMPS ROC Awards

Proud to announce that CBT received three top honors at the Society of Marketing Professionals (SMPS) ROC awards, including the most coveted award of the evening, Best in Show! The program, which stands for Recognizing Outstanding Communications, showcases the best work produced by architectural, engineering, and construction management firms in New England. CBT took home two first place awards and won best in show for our Marketing Collateral. Congratulations to the marketing team and graphics team!

A panel of industry judges chose the winning entries for each category, and named CBT’s Repositioning Magazine as the highest scoring overall submission. CBT’s repositioning magazine successfully showcases the firm’s approach to design as a business tool, strongly defines the firm’s repositioning sector, and responds directly to the intended end recipient. Since the launch of the magazine in March 2013, it has served as a robust support piece to the team’s pitches and interviews. The piece also received first place in the marketing collateral category.

CBT also placed first in the Integrated Marketing Campaign category for CBT’s eight part digital feature series, INNOV8. INNOV8 conveys that there is more to CBT than just completed beautiful projects. The eight part online multimedia feature series highlights eight “CBT firsts” with a focus on how the firm is differentiating itself through innovative design, delivery and results and as the tagline reads — how “CBT is doing it like no other.” Over a one year period, INNOV8 was sent via email to our 6,700+ mailing list of contacts, posted and linked back to our website and shared via our social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn). Overall, when compared to the Silverpop 2013 Email marketing benchmarking study all eight INNOV8 segments significantly exceeded the average open and click through rates.
