CBT Celebrates Wellness Month
This January, CBT launched our inaugural Wellness Month – a month-long series of events, speakers, and activities focused on engaging staff in a dialogue about wellness, and physical and mental health. Aligning with our design philosophy of prioritizing employee wellbeing in the workplace, CBTers participated in a variety of activities and educational sessions with topics ranging from sticking to New Year’s resolutions and healthy eating to mindfulness practice and maintaining emotional wellbeing. Boxing, yoga, morning meditations, and neighborhood walkabouts made for a diverse and engaging program that encouraged both personal and communal growth among CBT staff. The series concluded with a vendor fair featuring representatives from more than 15 local wellness-focused businesses, including fitness studios, nutritionists, and relaxation amenities.
